Teagan is a strategy and leadership coach with experience across a range of industries including mining, manufacturing, renewables, construction, engineering, health and finance.
Teagan has over 15 years of experience in these industries and specialises in leadership, organisational coaching, diversity and inclusion, project management and organisational change. She has delivered 1,200+ hours of one-on-one coaching and has worked with 600+ leaders through workshops, coaching and consulting services. Her work was recognised in 2020 as the winner of the Australian Mining Prospect Awards, Contribution to Mining, and in 2023 as the Women in Industry Mentor of the Year.
As a leader in diversity, inclusion and leadership, Teagan is regularly asked to comment on industry developments. She has been quoted in The Australian House of Representatives, featured in a range of magazines and interviewed on live breakfast radio for 4BC Brisbane and ABC Radio Gippsland.
She is the author of Rules of the Game: Women in the Masculine Industries, which explores the realities for women in the construction, resource and engineering industries. Her book contains stories and advice from over 50 different women and men across these industries to provide strategies for achieving success in the workplace.
Teagan holds a Masters of Human Resource Management and a Bachelor of Science (Psychology Major), both from The University of Melbourne. She is also an accredited DISC practitioner and Occupational Personality Profiler.
Along with her professional endeavours Teagan is proud to be a co-founder of the not-for-profit Diversity Practitioners Association in Australia. The DPA’s mission is to provide support for individuals, practitioners and organisations actively seeking to build and sustain diverse and inclusive organisations. She was also Ministerial Committee Member for 8 years of The School for Student Leadership which offers a unique residential education experience for year nine students.
